For Providers

Powerful Programs make Powerful Stories.

Whether you’re building trust with hard-to-reach communities or creating spaces for healing and growth, storytelling can help you do it better.

The Cost of Disconnection.

You serve people with complex stories, but sometimes the systems surrounding them don’t know how to listen.

Community voices are too often overlooked or reduced to statistics and case notes. Staff burnout, stigma, and outdated models only make it harder to build the trust and connection your work depends on.

It’s time to do things differently.

Co-Create. Connect. Transform.

We help providers do more than serve; we help them connect.

Whether it’s through storytelling workshops, program design, or staff training, we bring fresh, human-centered tools that make your work more meaningful and more effective.

When people are empowered to share their stories, healing begins, and change follows.

Need to refresh your team’s enthusiasm and add some new techniques? It’s time to provide your team with facilitator training.

Even the most talented and passionate group leaders benefit from professional development. Without it, group work can get stale and repetitive – even uninspired.

Enhance Your Groups with Dynamic Training

MPG offers creative, arts-based, and educational groups for facilitators who work with groups of all ages. All of our methods can be implemented by non-clinical staff, and our techniques come from evidence-based practices like narrative and drama therapy. We utilize a peer support approach that empowers clients to be their own best resource in their wellness, since we believe this is the most effective way to ensure lasting impact and change.

A single, two-day training will equip your team with the essential tools of successful facilitation, giving them the ability to lead highly impactful, dynamic, invigorating groups that set your clients up for successful growth and learning.

Group Facilitation Skills

This program trains participants in the fundamentals of facilitation, level-setting leadership skills and language across your team. MPG offers two- and three-day courses in foundational facilitation skills like culture, attunement, and regulation that will empower your staff to offer dynamic groups that can reach and even exceed your clinical goals.

Resilience Storytelling

MPG’s signature method of narrative therapy – Resilience Storytelling – is a potent tool to effect long-lasting and rapid personal growth and change through a re-storying process. It assists clients in reducing internal shame, increasing resilience, and reaching other key wellness goals and can be integrated into any kind of group setting. We’ll help you implement this method in your program to powerfully change your clients’ lives through storytelling with training, mentoring, and ongoing support for your team. This program trains participants in the fundamentals of facilitation, level-setting leadership skills and language across your team. Embodied Storytelling

This versatile program introduces theatre and storytelling exercises into group processes, providing clients with the opportunity to safely practice critical skills for wellness like self-regulation, identity formation, use of voice, and boundary-setting. It’s fun, dynamic, and deep all at once! It can be used as a whole curriculum, or broken into pieces to integrate into your existing group sessions. We’ll teach your team to lead all of the exercises and equip them with a strong foundation in facilitation so your clients and staff are never bored in a group again!

Mass Department of Public Health

Mass Department of Public Health, Young Person Recovery: Embodied Storytelling

The Mass Department of Public Health brought MPG in to reinvigorate their inhouse programming for 13-26 year-olds within all residential treatment.

Based on our Embodied Storytelling program, we created a customized curriculum, managed overall program delivery across multiple sites, and facilitated instruction that brought in movement, voice, and creative expression.

MDPH met all of its departmental goals for greater social-emotional learning and personal development in its young residents.

It’s Time for a More Human Way Forward.

If you’re ready to move past outdated models and build trust through story, connection, and care, we’re ready.
